· Only jpegs upto 3MB will be accepted. PSD, gif, tiff, .zip etc will not be accepted
· Maximum of three images per person may be submitted
· There must NOT be any name/ watermark etc on an image

Terms and Conditions
1.Eligibility
1.1.There is no entrance fee
1.2.Participant must be 18 years of age (or more) by 01st July 2013.
1.3.Participant must be a resident of India
1.4.Employees of Tamron India Pvt. Ltd. are not eligible to participate in the Contest
1.5.Previous winners are not eligible to participate. However the runner-ups may participate
1.6.Participants must be available for a series of events held by Tamron India Pvt. Ltd. in 2013-14
2.Format and Submission
2.1.Images from any genre of Photography are acceptable
2.2.Images shot using any photographic instrument may be submitted
2.3.The entries should be without borders
2.4.There must be no identifying marks, names or copyright information or borders on the image
2.5.Entries should be in the form of digital image as JPEG files
2.6.JPEGs should have a minimum resolution of 2000 pixels on the shorter side. The file size should not exceed 3MB each
2.7.Each uploaded image should be accompanied by the write-up of maximum 50 words about the image
2.8.The last date of receipt of entries is September 15th, 2013 at 12 AM
2.9.Tamron India Pvt. Ltd. will not be responsible for non-receipt of entries

3.Copyright
3.1.Every participant will retain copyrights of his / her image.
3.2.The participant must be the sole creator of his / her photographs and must also own the copyrights and rights to reproduction of all submitted images. It is the legal responsibility of the participant to ensure that publication of the photographs by Tamron India Pvt. Ltd. raises no legal claims.
3.3.By entering your images into the competition, participants agree to allow Tamron India Pvt. Ltd. to publish their photographs in print or electronic form for promotional purposes, without payment.
3.4.The images will be reproduced with due credit to the photographers
4.Judging/Prizes
4.1.Only the entries that have met the format and submission criteria outlined above will be eligible for judging
4.2.After viewing submitted images, selected participants will be called for interviews which will be held in a city near them or online as video-conferencing
4.3.Four final winning candidates will be selected from across India after these interviews and will be announced during Photofair
4.4.Each of the four winning candidates will receive
4.4.1.One Tamron Lens of their choice out of the following

4.4.2.Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only
4.4.3.All expense paid trip (Travel to-fro by Air, Hotel Stay and Meals) for two days
4.4.4.Direct exposure with professional photographers
4.4.5.Visibility in Tamron marketing communication and activities like Tamron website, workshops, magazines etc.
4.5.Tamron India Pvt. Ltd. will appoint a judging panel to determine the winners and runner-ups
4.6.The decision of the judges will be final.
4.7.Entries will be judged on the basis of interpreting and expressing the theme, along with the technical and aesthetic quality of the photograph.
