It is combined with extensive practical session mixed with theory as well as seeing various styles, concepts, and photo stories of other photography masters.
Photo opportunities will be ample however street photography is all about the right moment, right time and right place. What is the right equipment to make good pictures?
At Photo Konnect’s Kumbh Mela Photography Workshop, the importance is not given to the equipments. We believe equipments are technology product which can be taught. However, our workshops have strong emphases on helping you build visual literacy to capture the ordinary to make it better. You can join the workshop with a basic D-SLR, a compact camera, film camera, including a smartphone camera. The workshop content has been designed to suit the needs of a beginner as well as a professional.

Mentor Aslam Saiyad is an award-winning photographer who holds a degree in Automobile Engineering and has worked in automobile companies before his interest in machine designing led him into the world of photography. Aslam Saiyad specializes in social documentary photography, environmental portraiture, editorial photography, photo stories and travel photography. He is a fellow of the prestigious Magnum Mentorship Programme that was held at Singapore in 2012. He has attended masterclass under Raghu Rai and Stuart Fraklin in India and in Singapore. His pictures have been represented at various national and international galleries and exhibitions including the prestigious National Geography Book. Getting Your Shot: The Book, published in May 2015. At present Aslam Saiyad conducts photography workshop for Canon, heads the photography department and the technical department at Frameboxx. When not in the city, he is usually working on the field for National Geographic Documentaries in the capacity of photographer.
Mentor Mulchand Dedhia is the founder of Photo Konnect and calls himself as a photopreneur, he is an entrepreneur by profession and photographer at heart. He loves start ups and has three different start ups to his credit. He moderates various online photography community which reaches out to over 25,000+ photographers across all online platforms. Mulchand has organized over 100+ photo walks, workshops and seminars around the country. He has curated a photography exhibition for Amir Khan Production for their film Dhobi Ghaat along with curating other shows for Behance in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
