Product photographer required

Rajat Mittal is the maker of Boyish, a platform for discourse on the topic of masculinity and its impact on boys in India.

Boyish is embarking on producing a set of children’s books in the middle grade and young adult category.

He is looking for a seasoned product photographer, someone who is capable of directing a photo shoot with children to produce a set of mockup images of children reading books. The produced images from the photo shoot will be used by Boyish for marketing its upcoming books.

The books are still in production but some digital files of the book (like the book cover, a few inner pages) are ready. This is where Graphic Design skills are required to be able to work with digital files rather than wait for printed copies of the book to do the photoshoot.

Requirements:

  • Ability to source and hire appropriate models (parents and boys aged 8-12yrs old) for the photoshoot.
  • Ability to find and design the right studio environment for the photoshoot.
  • Conducting the photoshoot.
  • Editing and design work with pictures of the photoshoot to produce mockup images.

Deliverables:

  • Raw pictures that emerge from the photoshoot.
  • 5-10 high quality pictures with images of the Boyish books inserted in them.

Other particulars:

  • I have created a moodboard to showcase the style of images I am looking for. You can study it here.
  • All work to be delivered by September 30th, 2021.
  • Entire project budget of Rs. 40,000 INR.
  • Potential for 10,000 INR bonus on excellent production work.
  • I am open to increasing the scope(and budget) of the project to include short 8-10sec video clips if you have the skills.
