The eighth annual CGAP Photo Contest, which aims to highlight stand-out photography from amateur and professional photographers depicting financial inclusion around the world, is now accepting entries for 2013. All photos may be submitted online at cgap.org/photocontest between June 26 and October 2.
We are looking for original, striking images that illustrate the complex financial lives of people living in poverty and how financial inclusion makes a difference. By sharing your images that demonstrate the variety of ways poor households manage household finances, you’ll help us tell a story of innovation and ingenuity in the use of financial services to improve lives.
Submit your photos to be eligible for a $2,000 gift certificate for photography equipment and the opportunity to have your photo displayed in New York City’s Times Square. For the second consecutive year, an online vote will determine the People’s Choice Winner, so be sure to vote for your favorite photos.
Visit cgap.org/photocontest for full entry requirements and official guidelines.
