Q- Who is the workshop aimed at?
A- Whether you are an amateur or a serious hobby photographer or a budding professional, this workshop has something to offer. Participants should be comfortable using the manual or semi-manual settings, and need to have a DSLR camera. ‘The Art of Lighting’ module focuses on the most crucial element for all indoor fashion shoot which is ‘Lights’.

The aim of the module is to equip the participant achieve the following objectives

1. Practical shoot working along with composition
2. Working with different light setups
3. Arrangements and technical know how know for high key lighting setup
4. Shooting the model in reverse lighting i.e (low key lighting setup),
5. Two light setup
6. Use of deliberate exposures
7. How to direct a model for the shoot
8. Last but not the least ‘The Art of Lighting’

Q- Who will lead the workshop?
A- Photo Corner’s resident photographer Dilip Yande will lead and mentor the participants. He is a commercial advertising photographer with experience over 18 years in various genre of photography. Be it jewellery or conceptual ad shoot with international models, he has done it all. He is a visting faculty with leading photography school in Mumbai and Pune. In his free time he believes in sharing knowledge through his images.

Q- What dates is the workshops running on?
A- The workshop will be conducted on 23rd December, 2012, Sunday, at a studio in Wadala
(Address: A/316 Antop Hill Wearhousing Complex, Near Dosti Acres, Vidyanankar College Road, Wadala, Mumbai – 400031).

Q- What camera and equipment do I need to bring?
A- We recommend you bring a D- SLR camera with a kit lens for the workshop. However any advanced gear which you are comfortable using can certainly be an advantage for you while shooting. But if you are confident of your photography skills on a digital camera and would like learn more about the process of working along with lights and building fashion folios you could also sign up for the workshop. Q- What are my investments for the workshop?
A- Your investments for the workshop will be Rs. 4,500/- only. Students and Photo Corner’s past participants will receive Rs. 500 off. (Students need to carry their identity card).

A- Mentor Dilip Yande will be selecting one photographer post the workshop who will be chosen among all the participating photographer on the bases of merit folio. The best photographer of the workshop to win the Zoomin Print Pack which includes as below

Q- What’s included in the fees?
A- Guidance by experienced photographer Dilip Yande. Your FREE Zoomin Voucher worth Rs.995, Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided in the morning. In the afternoon we have made arrangements for a working lunch.

Q- How can I make my payments?
A- Our office is based at South Mumbai in Crawford market. You can walk in to drop your fees to our office from mon-fri from 9 AM to 8 PM. However, if you reside in any other part of the city we could help you with a pick up facility for an additional fee of Rs.200. Alternatively, you could transfer your fees directly in to our bank account. The details for the same are mentioned below.
