Photo Konnect workshops are designed to carter at every level of participants, whether you are a student, photography enthusiasts or interested in pursuing a career in photography. Photo Konnect workshops an intensive, real-world experience in which participates are pushed to learn and grow more than they ever thought possible. Unlike established workshops where students work in large groups and have limited access to the professional photographers teaching them, Photo Konnect workshops are organized for smaller batch giving the participants unprecedented access and the ability to learn hands-on in a real, in-field working experience. 

Q- What are the learning objectives
A- We will talk about various genres of photography which can be clubbed together with street, documentary, reportage and visual story building. You will learn to become a part of the environment on the street  You will learn how to build your own thought process around a photo story. You will be made aware about what are the Do’s and Don’ts of this genre of photography as well as get closer to mastering the art of selecting your best work from your days output. Along with this we will help you identify the right business part in this genre of photography along with a critique session with the group moderated by our mentor Udit Kulshrestha.

Q- Who will lead the workshop?
A- Udit Kulshrestha an award winning photographer who is He has widely exhibited and contributed to publications like Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Businessweek,Jakarta Globe, Iran Daily, Times if India, Caravan, Forbes India, Fountain Ink, Femina, The Sunday Guardian and leading advertising agency like DDB Mudra. .  He has done over 15+ shows in his career. Q- What is the lead photographers credibility? 

Q- What dates are the workshops running on?
A- The workshop has been divided between two days. 

7th Sep – Sunday – Training Day, indoor session
8th Sep – Monday – On the field shooting the Visarjan at Girgaon Chowpatty. 

Q- What camera and equipment do I need to bring?
A- We recommend you bring a D- SLR camera with a kit lens for the workshop. However any advanced gear which you are comfortable using can certainly be an advantage for you while shooting. But if you are confident of your photography skills on a digital camera and would like learn more about the process of working and building travel photo stories you could also sign up for the workshop. Q- How much does it cost to take part in a workshop?
A- Your investment for the workshop will be Rs. 3,500. 


Q- What’s included in the price?
A- Guidance by experienced photographer Udit Kulshrestha. Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided in the morning.

Q- How can I make my payments?
A- Our office is based at South Mumbai in Crawford market. You can walk in to drop your fees to our office from mon-fri from 9 AM to 8 PM in the evening. However, if you reside in any other part of the city we could help you with a pick up facility for an additional fee of Rs.200. Alternatively, you could transfer your fees directly in to our bank account. The details for the same are mentioned below.

Q- How many other students will be taking part on my workshop?
A- There will be a maximum of 8 participants. This ensures that the lead photographer has plenty of time to answer any questions, provide critical feedback and interact with everyone in the workshop.
